February 2019's Random Acts of Flowers
At the end of February, we were very excited to create and deliver our very first Random Acts of Flowers to three immensely deserving recipients.
CHARITY - SWALLOW Charity
SWALLOW is a charity based in Bath and North East Somerset and aims to enable teenagers and adults with learning disabilities to live as independently as they wish.
We visited their training cafe in Radstock which is staffed by SWALLOW members who work front of house and in the kitchen. The aim of this café is to support local people with learning disabilities, to allow them to gain useful skills and catering experience with the hope of enabling them to enter employment.

INDEPENDENT BUSINESS - Good Day Cafe
Steph, the owner and manager of Good Day Cafe grew up in the West Country. She has worked in the food industry for years, working her way up in and around London before taking the plunge and opening her very own place.
Steph and her team have created a fabulous cosy atmosphere in their independent cafe nestled in the heart of Bath.
Try the hot chocolates- they’re amazing, plus they have LOADS of plants for you to admire!
NOMINATION - June Overment
We couldn’t let our very first nomination go by without paying tribute to our wonderful MUM!
Our mum is one of a kind, just ask anyone in our local village! A complete “madhead” with the biggest heart and the most caring person we know. Not only does she put up with our antics, she cares for our profoundly disabled big sister Jo, she’s a fabulous nan to our children and supports us in everything we do. She’s an absolute HERO.
Don’t forget you can nominate your own unsung heroes to receive a Random Act of Flowers HERE!
